I knew that.. Im just saying fuck them clips, Im done with them .... I dont care if they r 10 point fave against DET i wont play them.. By the way welcome back..
Hey man the Jazz were up 35 when their 11th and 12th men came in the game last night and they were jacking up 3's too and they won by 42. I have to agree with Wayne as long as there is still a few min left on the clock you need to run your plays and if that is players taking 3 then so be it and House and Posey taking 3's are what plays are ran for them.
The one thing that sucks is when you have money on the game and you get screwed but what if you had Boston and they just layed down so you got back doored you would be yelling at them because they gave up.
I hate this, but I have to agree with you again! Jordan and the Bulls would stomp on team's throats and made sure they knew who was boss.
You are also taught to play hard in the NBA til you're out. The easiest way to get an injury is to let up. Play the way you always play. You don't want to mess around with changing your style. The Celts have been scoring at will all season. No sense in changing now. Esp right before the playoffs.....JMO

I heard an interview with Jeff Hornacek when he played with the Suns before being traded to Philly. He said they would come into a time out up 12 and say lets push this lead to 17 before the next time out and then up to 20 before the end of the 3rd and so on and this attitude help them win a lot of games. That year he said his team led the league in margin of victory over ten points

Right now the Celtics lead the league in margin of victory at +10.4 ppg.

And trust me, I've played hoop in intramural leagues and city leagues and you don't let up when you have a large lead. It's a sure way to injury because you are NOT playing focused and you play lackadaisical. I've talked to a pro or two and they've said the same thing. You play hard and stay focused. Too bad it's a blowout.....
Back on the subject. If your a bench player and not even part of the coach's 8 man rotation, when you get a chance to play in a one sided game, you are going to play the best you can. If that means pressing on defense or taking open three's, then so be it.
I have nothing against any coach telling his bench players to play hard when he finally gives them a chance to play. That's the way it should be. What I don't like is the coach who keeps his starters or rotation players in a one sided game until the last minute or two of the game before clearing the bench.
