i agree about the celtics. they're my team and all, but they rub me the wrong way sometimes too. they'll be up 20 pts and are still waving towels on the bench, jacking 3's, and pressing like its game 7 of the finals. kinda annoying if you ask me.

i remember when they played denver this year at home. denv lost in OT the night before and were down like 30 at halftime. denv basically concedes the game, and the celts are like jumping off the bench every time they make a shot, pressing, etc etc. i remember seeing george karl with that WTF look on his face, altough he never made an issue of it. hope the celts don't spend all their energy trying to win BS games in the regular season. this is a team who clearly hasn't been there before.

Who cares man whether they are up 6, 8, 10 or 15. If the play clock is ticking, you need to run your offense like the game is tied (imo). I'm sick of people whining about professional athletes making millions and their feelings being hurt because another team is beating them good. It happened with N.E. too and it got them nowhere so who cares really.

I'm saying who knows though. Maybe they are working on the press late in the season and trying new things. I just don't think winning a NBA game by 14 points is bush league in any way. I watched the ending too and they were taking shots that were given to them. Utah won by 42 last night and they were running and gunning up 30+ and not a word about them. I just don't get it.

I hate this, but I have to agree with you again! Jordan and the Bulls would stomp on team's throats and made sure they knew who was boss.

You are also taught to play hard in the NBA til you're out. The easiest way to get an injury is to let up. Play the way you always play. You don't want to mess around with changing your style. The Celts have been scoring at will all season. No sense in changing now. Esp right before the playoffs.....JMO
