    Chado's Picks for Tuesday!!!

    12-6 run in the NHL last 5 threads....

    8-2 the last 3 days...

    1-0 yesterday...

    HUGE BIG HUGE night in the NHL for tonight with 9 games scheduled and playoff implications all over the place. Most teams only have either 2 or 3 games left in their regular season so its do or die right here and right now for them. How exciting this time of year is with the NHL battle war playoffs starting next week!!!



    I like these selections:

    5/6 Carolina Hurricanes / Washington Capitals UNDER 6.0 (+100) OT included

    8 Ottawa Senators (-140) OT included ML *POD*

    11 Nashville Predators (-150) OT included ML

    *All games are for one unit each

    PS - Also leans to CGY/EDM under 5.5, EDM ML, and VAN ML but am passing on these as the games are HUGE for both teams involved so could go either way....

    AS ALWAYS, GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!

              Not tonight however..Sens will be a desperate team as they only have 92 pts and are currently in 6th...both the Bruins and Flyers have 91 so if Ottawa continues to lose the could find themselves on the outside looking in when the playoffs begin next week...I would be shocked if the Sens dont beat us tonight...they need the win WAY more than we do right now....also the whole Sens team was called out the other day for their lack of effort and heart....Jason Spezza flipped out on the media saying "thats bullshit" and this and that in defense of the comments....they will play with a purspose tonight...

                        when the playoffs start, do you think my red wings will fold again? they seem too out play everyone, but always get beat by a hot goalie. last time it was guigare (i don't think i spelled his name right). 1 game they had over 50 shots including ot and lost 2-1 or 3-2. hasek can't out play some of these guys any more.

                          Yea I do agree that Hasek is WAY past his prime and isnt half as good as he used to be but as far the Wings folding it is really hard to say. Every year they build such a huge lead in the Western Conference and end up having pretty much nothing significant to play for throughout the 2nd half of the season and then are suddenly expected to turn up the jets once the playoffs begin. They play in the easiest division in the NHL so playing Columbus, Nashville, St. Loius, and Chicago all 8 times per year (all 4 of which are non-playoff teams) doesnt help for the strength of competition. Maybe these things can account to it a little as its tough to turn things on and off consistently like that. Honestly the West is so damn tough looking this year and it is really hard to pre-determine who will come out of that conference and make the Cup but they are gonna have to get past the Sharks and Ducks at one point and IMO they are the two strongest teams who have the most potential to go all they way this year....JMHO....

                              like all three but can only pull the trigger on nash. already up to -165 for me.

                              might want to take a look at the #s on the col/van game I can't figure it out for the life of me but we kind of own luongo and vancouver for that matter. don't know if you have the same opinion but it seems like vancouver is pulling there anual choke job. homer play for me on the av's.

                              I'm on edm with ya also, rexall should be rockin. GL bro
