    Tonights O/U line 41 1/2.

Take a look at the O/U lines in past meetings when the line was 41, 41 1/2, and 42. The Bears covered every one of those games, and won two of them S/U.

Very true but look at it from a different angle. The Packers covered 6 of the last 7. I am not sure who to go with but just an observation.

        The Number

on this game is really favoring GB
By last years line, GB should be a 1½ point favorite at most.

BY THE NUMBERS: 10-4 — Bears record since 1990 in games following a bye. They are 6-2 in the last eight and 3-1 under Dick Jauron.

We could throw out numbers that support both sides, but here is what I'm saying. Throw out the teams tonight. This will be a game of pure emotion.

The Packers were picked to win their division this year. With a loss to Minnesota at home, and a big win at home against the lions at home. Then to turn around with a big loss to what is called the worst team in the NFL.

Now you have the Bears AKA the other worst team in the NFL, but the spin here is, their is a good feeling in Chicago now. The Cubs are in the playoffs. The Bears are coming home after a year to a new stadium, to fans who haven't seen them in a year. They have had two weeks to get ready for this game. They have been able to work out in the new stadium at night. This could be a slight edge for the Bears as well.

Players and coaches alike know that jobs will be on the line if they come out of this game with a loss. Other than that being said, The Bears have something to look forward to tonight.

The packers on the other hand have to be down by that loss to the Cards. With next weeks game against Seattle, the pressure is on them tonight to win. Knowing that they need a win they might be a little tight. To where I think the Bears will be loose and ready to go. Bears 24 Green Bay 20.

            The Pack

I think I'm looking past all of the team trends in this one. Come on now, you have to look at the QB's with Kordell vs. Bret. I would give the points and not think twice about any other trend. Once Stewert makes a mistake, he can't handle the pressure, and I don't think his team is confident with him either.
