Rick Korch has not been charged.Rick Korch, who served as the University of Miami football team's chief spokesman, is under criminal investigation after a technician found child pornography on his office computer, according to police.

Korch, 52, of Miramar, has not been charged.

He is married and has four children, according to his university biography. Efforts to reach Korch at his home and on his cellphone were unsuccessful.

Korch left the university's sports information office about two weeks ago, said a receptionist who answered the phone Monday.

A university spokeswoman, Margot Winick, declined to comment: ``Per university policy, I can't discuss his record.''

Coral Gables police declined to comment.

''We're still investigating,'' said Sgt. Javier Bruzos, a spokesman.

According to a Coral Gables police search warrant filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, Korch had requested UM computer technicians to repair his office computer because it ran too slow.

As technician Alberto Perez reformatted the hard drive on Feb. 12, he found an explicit video file involving what appeared to be a ''prepubescent girl,'' the warrant said.

Perez found other sexually charged images of ''scantily clad'' girls that appeared between the ages of 10 and 15 years. Also discovered: More than 10 files containing the word ''Pedo'' in the file name, short for pedophilia, according to the warrant.

Other technicians found sexually explicit photos of children stored in a folder called ''Season Recaps,'' the warrant said.

The school called Coral Gables police. Detective Dean Wellinghoff impounded the computer.

Armed with the warrant, Wellinghoff and detectives on Feb. 25 searched Korch's office at the Isadore Hecht Athletic Center, 5821 San Amaro Dr. They seized computers, floppy disks, documents, 24 VHS tapes (including one labeled ''Wake Forest vs. Miami'') and hundreds of CDs and DVDs.

Korch joined the university in 2004, after nine years managing media affairs for the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to his bio. He also worked as the editor in chief of Pro Football Weekly, and for the NFL Alumni Association and the Miami Dolphins.

He goes AWOL from the site and emails just because he owes one person $50 and another person $100. How bad is that. I guess his paper route can't pay either debt. I highly doubt the guy ever even gambled with real money. He is a fucken liar, a fraud and a piece of fucken shit!
