Totall agree but I like picking up guys playing for a contract as it seems to make them do magical things again

Giambi, Lidge, Manny, Texeira and I believe Nathan are all playing for new contracts

          PEACE

Lineup looks good but i'm not a big fan of your starting pitching at all.

                1 Haren
                2 C Young
                3 Smoltz
                4 Oliver Perez
                5 Matt Cain

Gorzellany, Snell, Greinke and the others as prospects.....not great but I got an ace in Haren and some other decent starters who play in the NL which is always a plus

                PEACE

Haren scares me a little. He should have a good year but playing where he is won't guarantee him anything. I don't see any 20 win pitchers with high K totals there. No Beckett, CC, Hamels, Peavy, Santana, Lackey, Fausto, Zambrano, Bedard, Halladay or any other "Real Big" stud. If it were me, i would like to have at least 1 of them at the top of my rotation.

Lackey is hurt so I stayed away from him and Im not big on Fausto or Halladay who I couldve gotten over Haren because they arent big K guys....Zambrano to me is also on the decline somewhat.

CC, Hamels, Peavy, Johan, Bedard were 2 pricy for me as a top 4 which I didnt want to spend.

As far as Ks go Im big on those and thats why everyone of my guys gets 8+ Ks per 9 inn except for Gorzelany and Haren....but yes I agree with the top 5 SP thing....I just hope Haren can repeat last year

Thanks for the input brother and keep it coming...I love chatting fantasy bases
