  • NCAA Friday

    College YTD 2-1 +0.9 units
    all plays 1*

    College/NBA Combined 20-20 +1.0 units
    3* 2-0 +6.0 units
    2* 0-1 -2.2 units
    1* 18-19 -2.8 units

I finally got myself in the black with a huge Wednesday as I went 2-0 including a big 3* win on the Hornets. I've only had three college picks all year but I'll have a few in the tournament. I really expect to go 3-0 on these Friday picks.

    2* Davidson -2
Davidson hasn't lost a game in weeks and destroyed everybody in the Southern Conference. It played a very tough non-conf schedule in December and gave North Carolina, Duke and NC State tough games. Gonzaga is yesterday's news and Davidson is the new mid-major program moving to national prominence. Davidson's Stephen Curry may be the best shooter in the country.

    1* Arkansas +2
Indiana couldn't be going into the torunament in a worse way. The players have tanked since Sampson was fired and they looked awful in the Big Ten tourney. Arkansas ran into a Georgia team playing on pure emotion in the SEC tournament but managed to beat Tennessee in the previous game.

    1* Louisville -13
I look for Boise to fold the same way Georgia did on Thursday. Boise had an incredible run to the championship of the WAC tournament including a triple overtime win. They'll meet a deep Louisville team that is playing excellent defenses and can run Boise into the ground. This game may be close for awhile but Louisville should pull away for an easy cover.

    Opinions only:
    St. Mary's
    Memphis

Another note on the Davidson game is the location of Rawley, NC...they're gonna have the fan advantage and that is a 9:25AM tip for the West Coast bodies of Gonzaga.

Good Luck on all 3 Gris

          NBA

          1* Cavs -4 1/2
For starters, Cleveland is better than Toronto so 4 1/2 is a reasonable number at home. The Raptors have lost nine of their last 12 while the Cavs continue to get better as all the new players acquired last month get used to playing with one another. While Bosh is back for Toronto, the line is an overreaction to his return.

          Opinion only:
          Blazers
