I got in a pool this year that using the following scoring system:
The number of the seed is the number of points you get for picking them.
For example if you pick NC and they win the first round they are the 1 seed - so you get 1 point. If you pick Kentucky to beat Marquette and they do - you get 11 points for them being the 11 seed.
Then in the 2nd round you multiply the seed by 2. third round you multiply the seed by 3 and so on to the multiple of 6 for the champion.
So picking a #1 seed to win the entire thing will get you 21 points.
First time I have been in a pool like this so I am pry just donating money - but seems like a lot of fun.
