It's been 11 days since my last Special Situation play, Stanford over USC, which lost. Finally, the game I have been waiting for goes at 8 PM EDT tonight. Been waiting for the Rockets to finally lose a game and snap their long winning streak. It happened last night and you could see, once the game was out of reach and Houston knew they could not win, they just fell apart, taking bad shots without looking for the pass first and their aggressive defense was gone too.
This will carry over to tonight. This Houston team is going to be as flat as you ever saw a team. The emotion that has carried Houston during the latter part of the streak, is gone. I don't like playing with the public, but this is one time the public knows what is going to happen.
