Another tourney? Why can't I find the teams in it.
Good Luck to everyone

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!
Looks like something Fox wants to do to get in on the post season action.
Do you really hink the teams want to play after not only beaing shut out of the NCAA tourney, but the NIT as well?
Championship is a best of 3 series (IMHO, STUPID)

I think you'll see some teams (like Houston) who thought they were on the NCAA bubble until recently and are extremely disappointed to be in the CBI. But other teams, like Rider, are looking for their first "postseason" victory in school history. That's the angle I'd look for in this thing.
This tournament, which takes place exclusively at campus sites, will be a single- elimination event. However, the championship series will be a best-of-three format in which the higher seed will receive the first and last (if necessary) home game. Prior to the semifinals, the four remaining teams will be re- seeded.
It's no worse than the Papajohns.com Bowl in college football. I'm biased because my team is playing in it, but I think it's a good thing. And it gives you 16-17 more college basketball games to cap. I actually think this tournament has the softest lines of the week.
