    I disagree 100%

If you have a #1 vs #8 playing and they were set randomly, the #8 school may be in their home region and that is not fair. If anyone needs to get rewarded for something, it should be the top seeds who earned it, not a bubble team that gets in and gets some homecourt advantage. There are alot of sites played at and you can't mistakenly give low seeds any advantage they don't deserve.

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
      Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

they don't go out of their way to give low seeds homecourt. they shouldn't do it for anyone. i just don't like the fact that THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to keep teams close to home.

just look at syracuse playing the regional finals in f'n ALBANY the year they won the whole thing.

this stupid POD system is a relatively new thing. how did they tourney survive before it.

I made my 1st ever nascar bet today. I took:

            Bowyer +2000
            Mears +6000

Is this a good bet? What do you nascar guru's think?

YEAH, IT'S JUST LIKE ANY OTHER PLAYOFF SYSTEM...THEY PLAY THE REGULAR SEASON TO DETERMINE SEEDING AND REWARD THOSE FOR THEIR PERFORMANCE IN THE REGULAR SEASON FOR THE POSTSEASON, WHETHER IT BE WITH A HOMECOURT ADVANTAGE, PLAYING A WEAKER OPPONENT, ETC...

The 4 #1 teams deserve it. If you play a long season and earn a #1, you and your fans shouldn't have to travel cross country to enjoy it.

Exactly. Last time i looked, homefield is usually rewarded in the post season to teams with the better records. You can't do that in the tourney but keeping them close is only fair.

I have no issues with a #1 or #2 team playing close to home. Although I think once you get out of the first two rounds, then it should be a true neutral court.
