Revenge is totally overrated in college sports but this is a real case where it will come into play. Tom Izzo is obsessed with the fact he can't beat Bo Ryan (do a google search and check out his quotes). In Madison last month, Wisconsin humiliated Mich State (they've beaten them there six years in a row) and Drew Neitzel was held to only two points! Mich State will be highly motivated to atone for this. This game is virtually meaningless for Wisconsin---they already have a 2 or 3 seed nailed down---while Mich State can atone for a disappointing regular season by winning the Conference Tourney winner if they win this game. Indiana and Purude have already been knocked out of the tournament and the Badgers are the last to fall.
NOTE: I originally posted this game in my Friday NBA thread as I expected the line to move down (as it has). It is now down to +3 at most places but I still consider it a good play.
