3* Warriors -10
This is my biggest basketball play of the year so far. Golden State is in an almost perfect spot here. Toronto, which is without Bosh, has lost five of seven and played very hard in a loss to the Lakers last night. The Raptors are likely to be on fumes tonight against the fast-paced Warriors system. Golden State is hot---winning six of its last seven and returns home off an eastern road trip with THREE DAYS REST. The Warriors are in a major fight to get a Western playoff spot and can't afford to lose to teams like Toronto, especially at home. Golden State is on the road tomorrow night in Phoenix and realizes tonight is their best chance at a win. Besides, this is an eastern team on the road against a western team in a year in which the NBA imbalance is the most lopsided in decades. The 10-point spread is very reachable, particularly since Toronto is likely to pull starters late if they fall behind as they are in the early stages of a brutal western road trip.
Opinions only:
Mavs
Nuggets (the number here is huge but Denver has to go on a winning streak or it will miss the playoffs)
