  • 28 point 1st half for Nets

    Surprising?

Only if you are one of the hard-headed non-believers that think the Rockets are not for real.

9 straight DD wins, 18 - 0 SU ( 16-2 ATS) and 27-4 since Jan 1, best in NBA over that period, and I still see people not only not betting on them, but actually going against them.

Not only do books have the juice advantage, they get to take the bets from knuckleheads!

#4 in FG % defense, #2 in 3pt FG defense, #2 in blocked shots, #2 in scoring defense.

Soon to have the #2 streak in the history of the game, regardless of who they are playing. Respect the streak, the oldest mantra in sports betting
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

I've found it more profitable to bet ON the streak...instead of trying to predict when it is going to end.

              Opening line was 13.

Closed at 10.5 or 11. Somebody was fading the Rockets, or maybe the Nets were getting mad respect.

Thats the politically correct response.....yer a fade capper Griff....if you played this game you wouldve played the Nets regardless of streaks......I know I dont check winning or losing streaks for the most parts when capping.....unless they are ATS streaks.....WL streaks dont mean much to me.....Rockets are hot now but when they do hit the skids they will hit them hard.....I think we can all agree they arent better w/o Yao and they wont keep this up because lets be honest they are a nice team but they wont get confused with the elite

                PEACE

17-2 ATS, including 10 straight. I would say that following, rather than fading, is the only choice for people who do this for profit reasons.

For the mathematically challenged, fading would have resulted in 10 straight losses, and 17 of 19

I think its fairly obvious that they cant "keep it up" because keeping it up would mean they wont lose the rest of the season and we know thats virtually impossible. But with regards to streaks, I agree with Grandpa. You can win many times on a streak and lose only once. That for me outweighs trying to guess when it will end. Just my opinion.

I wont bet on or against the Rockets until I have a reason to....Im not just gonna fade for the sake of fading, thats suicide.....but when they go cold and they will they will probably miss 8/10

I completely agree with you. Once that first loss happens, I see a bit of a streak in that direction also. Totally agree.
