The Titans (-4½) handled the Saints last week in a 27-12 home win. QB Steve McNair completed 22-for-33 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns and RB Eddie George rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries. McNair became just the fifth quarterback in NFL history to pass for more than 20,000 yards and run for more than 3,000 yards in a career, joining Fran Tarkenton, John Elway, Randall Cunningham and Steve Young. The Titans dominated the game with edges in total "O" (385-188), first downs (28-11) and time of possession (39:11 to 20:49). The Steelers (-4½) won on the road at Cincy last week 17-10 as QB Tommy Maddox completed 21-of-34 passes for 240 yards and RB Amos Zereoue led Pittsburgh with 69 rushing yards on 16 carries, while Jerome Bettis added 59 yards on 16 attempts. Pitt dominated the contest with edges in total "O" (376-182), first downs (22-11) and time of possession (37:06 to 22:54). Pittsburgh is an amazing 34-12-2 ATS the week after allowing 11 points or less and are playing with revenge from last years 34-31 loss to the Titans in the playoffs. Also note that the "over" is 9-1 the last ten meetings between these two squads.
