Another example of why NASCAR is a joke. They have these Mickey Mouse rules but don't enforce them. Why not strip the win? Why not suspend the driver?

100 points is no joke. What does taking the win away accomplish after the fact? 100 points taken away hurts far worse than getting to keep the points and giving up the "win" imo.

I don't think the penalty affects the survivor pool. It should. But the survivor rules says,

You will receive the driver points awarded each week for the driver you choose. The points will be applied from www.Nascar.com

and the official results has edwards at 195 points. The penalty is off his total points and not the race.
