Special Situation -- Sunday NBA Game

It's not often I find another one of these plays just a couple of days after winning the last play I posted. That wining play was Boise State, the best team in the WAC, as a dog at sub .500 Hawaii.

Tonights play is an NBA play. The red hot Houston Rockets just keep on winning. I thought that playing without Ming, they would have a hard time keeping their winning streak going. The first two games without Ming and Houston just kept on winning. But who did Houston beat. Just Washington and Memphis, both sub .500 teams.

Tonight is their first real test without Ming, playing a better team in Denver but still a favorite without Ming. Getting 5 points is a gift for Denver.

As bad as my play looked, it seemed more like Denver playing bad than Houston playing well. Wide open shots for Houston, Denver standing around watching Iverson miss shot after shot is why Denver lost.

I'm not sold that Houston, without Ming, should be favored over the top tier teams and I am planning to play against Houston when they host New Orleans Saturday night, streak or no streak, since they could lose at Dallas Thursday.

I agree... I put $20 on the money line just for the hell of it. Stephen A. Smith said this about Denver that they are an embarrassment. They do not play defense, they are so up and down... It is so sad that they gave the effort that they did last night. My advice is to stay away from this team and follow Miami. I have made a bundle with them. For some reason despite of their record the books still love them...

It's another example how little the media knows about sports. After the trade last year for AI, the media was all over Denver. How great they'll be? Can they be beaten? Denver been pretty lousy since the trade.

A good portion of the media, the non-ex athletes, are wannabee athletes. They are so clueless on sports. What's scary is how many sport bettors listen and follow the BS they spew on TV and the print media.

I tell u what I also thought DENVER would give Houston a better game than they did...i didnt bet it, but I did think it...Im from HOUSTON and a big fan, but I keep thinking they will have to start losing soon enough without Ming....but who knows the team is playing really well right now not only winning but covering almost everytime out...all im saying is that its hard to bet against them right now
