I've made past posts about this -

This is the exact opposite of how I've been making money in the NBA recently. I was doing a lot of ML parlays with favorites, and losing, so I switched over to ML parlays of dogs - esp those +450 etc. and done well.

Hope it hits for you, but gambling ML on favorites makes bettors lose their (remaining) hair. Play the dogs, where a 2-teamer can get you +2000 and you only need to win once a week to make money.

Like you say - it's the NBA, anything can happen.
