Bills Trade For Stroud; Sign Johnson
    WGR Newsroom - Saturday, March 1, 2008 - 4:43 PM

Orchard Park, NY (WGR 550)-If you've been keeping a list of what positions the Bills needed to upgrade in the off-season, knock another one off your list. Buffalo traded reported 3rd and 5th round picks in the upcoming draft to Jacksonville for Marcus Stroud. The three-time Pro Bowler told the press in Orchard Park Saturday that his ankle feels good and thinks he can return to all-pro form. He also apologized for his suspension and said it was his own fault for not knowing about the suppliment he put in his body.

The Bills also signed 6-foot-3 286-pound DL Spencer Johnson, who played his entire four year career with Minnesota. The Vikings signed Johnson in 2004 as an undrafted free agent. Johnson started all 16 games last season after suffering a knee injury in 2006. The AP is reporting that the length of the deal is five years but no dollar amount was noted.

Nice pick up but they are miles away from making any noise.
