    Foot injury shelves Yao Ming for season

    Rockets center Yao Ming will miss the rest of the season with a stress fracture in his foot.
    Devastating news for a Rockets franchise who has to wonder about building around an injury-prone star. We're guessing Dikembe Mutombo will start at center, but the Rockets could go small and move Luis Scola there, giving Carl Landry or Chuck Hayes the start at power forward. Jamaal Magloire could be an option to sign.

              I had picked the rockets as my favorite to have the first major injury of the 2nd half....tmac and yao cant seem to stay healthy for a full season...the west is tough man and I think the rockets are fucked without yao...welcome back denver into the playoff picture
