you're gonna refer to the referee incident this year in the NBA, and now all of a sudden it's such a "PROVEN" thing....

He was caught, he stopped, NBA has tightened up, and now I guess you'll say, that no other sport, including that "Crooked ass Hockey in the NFL", which has had it's share of black marks, "PROVEN", to be crooked, is the only clean sport there is....

You indeed do have a dislike for the NBA, and it magnifies your warped ass outlook on the sport.....

You're getting to be a bigger joke every day......just when I think you're making progress, the real insecure, highly opinionated, never wrong, only my opinion counts, the NBA expert, whereqas you have no fvkn idea, Chado, comes out....

Chado, I've got some BadketBalls that are older than you are....and we know something about the sport.....

Like the dumb ass Canadian that went to the Dr, and said it hurts when I turn my arm this way, and the Dr says, "then quit turning it that way"......

Leave the NBA alone, leave your whining out of the forum, leave your ever so rightous opinion of the NBA in Canada.....

Don't make me go Cajun on your Ass!

dude its your opinion of the sport aside from the tim donagee thats warped...obviously nobody that bets on games liked hearing the donagee story come up (and I know im butchering that pricks last name, o well) but do I think its a trash league because theres some bad apple referree's mixed in with some extremley talented athletes? not for a second....
and I hate to say this but its pretty foolish to assume that referee's haven't or don't currently corrupt nfl, and ncaa calls

I think it's an attention thing.

I like the question dude asked about have any of you ever shot a basketball???

Have you complainers ever played in a game of hoops when the momentum swings against you, sometimes you never get back in it, and it is very easy to lose motivation when you look up at a scoreboard and you're down 13 in the 4th after you already gave your best effort to get back in the game and you still got killed. It makes perfect sense how some of these teams just fade, they are human.

And to speak on the NHL....I believe it was "your habs" chado that were losing a game 5-0 and won 6-5 so of course you saw that game with a bias because your favorite team won but what if you had the other side. Wouldn't you be complaining, I SURE WOULD.. BUT NOBODY DOES. It seams somewhere along the line you never got the message that SPORT HAPPENS.

Teams go cold, teams catch fire, Eli Manning wins the super bowl, NHL games go from 5-0 to 6-5. They are only human beings and there is a reason they play the games, because ANYTHING can happen and when it does don't continue to cry about it.

A bad beat here and there is one thing, and complaining will happen, but as a season ticket holder of the most exciting team in basketball I get sick of reading about you trashing a great sport that I love watching and have played since I was 6 years old.

Im out. Off to watch the Warriors beat the shit out of Seattle!!! And if they don't, even favored by 16, the last thing I'll do is show up and cry about it.

              PEACE

wake up and smell the coffee......

here's a few articles you might enjoy reading about your evangelical sport....
                ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nearly six months have passed since (Phoenix Coyotes') associate coach Rick Tocchet was linked to an alleged gambling ring based in New Jersey following a law-enforcement investigation dubbed "Operation Slap Shot."Apparently, a decision whether to indict Tocchet will come within a few weeks....

                ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Feb. 10/06 - Rick Tocchet is the only hockey guy who's been charged with anything in the NHL gambling scandal. But Wayne Gretzky is the one getting worked over in the media, thanks mostly to that ever-popular staple of journalism: "sources."

                ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Former NHL player Rick Tocchet pleaded guilty Friday to running a sports gambling ring, but might not have to serve any jail time...

He pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to promote gambling and promoting gambling. Such offences usually do not carry a jail sentence for first-time offenders.

                -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

That hardly makes it a good news story for hockey. An NHL coach helped run a gaming racket that handled cash in the millions, with plenty of his hockey pals reportedly in on the action. Not the sort of achievement that earns a guy a ceremony at center ice or a place in the Hockey Hall of Fame.

                -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

these are some excerpts from previous posts regarding scandals in Hockey....

go to google, type in NHL Scandals, and you get a ton of pages full of different types of scandals in the NHL....gambling, nudity poses, kinky sex, gays, etc.....simply put, they are humans, and when you gather a mass of people together in ANY sport, bad things are gonna happen....it's the law of "the nature of the beast (man)"...the NHL is not immune to this...

Get a grip on yourself....and if you find my comments, re NHL insulting, disheartening, frustrating, revealing, then you know how we feel when you constantly cry foul, fixed, and predominantly use the word TRASH....if they hit home, then I've accomplished what I wanted, to let you see how ridiculous, immature, childish, and ignorant looking it is....

Chado----here's also some trivia for ya.....about your Habs, and how they got their name.....

                  ------------------------------------------------------------------

Habs is an abbreviation of "les habitants," the informal name given to the original settlers of New France, dating back to the 17th Century. So it's a natural fit for the The Montreal Canadiens, established in 1909 and marketed as a French-Canadian hockey team.
Having said that, the nickname might have been the result of an error. According to NHL.com, the first man to refer to the team as "the Habs" was Tex Rickard, owner of Madison Square Garden, in 1924. Rickard apparently told a reporter that the "H" on the Canadiens' sweaters was for "Habitants." Not true. The distinctive C-wrapped-around-H logo stands for "Club de Hockey Canadien."

                  -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Imagine that----an American coining the nick name for the Canadian team......

I am not gonna argue anymore...that Rick Tochett and Wayne Greztky scandal was PROVEN to have no involvement in fixing NHL games whatsoever and was just a gambling operation for clients to bet on NFL games.....so that is not a comparison cause it was PROVEN otherwise...the NBA however has been PROVEN fixed so god forbid my opinion based on fact...unreal....
