yes it would because it would have been a signicant amount of time ago where it has been recitfied, action taken, and corrected....where as in the NBA it was just last season and will take more time before I personally feel it is completely distilled.....

Give me a break chad. Time doesn't mean shit. The refs is out of the game and they are watching for that shit more now than they have in the history of the NBA so that is just crap. If anything, this is the safest time ever to bet the NBA.

Chad, 80% of your countries favorite sport and their teams are housed in this country because Canada couldn't support more than the 5 or 6 they got. Without the US fueling these teams, you would have no NHL. Add to that all the people around this country that go to their games and they still can't find a tv station that wants them. Many know what hockey is and we are the ones supporting it. It still doesn't matter.

I thought of that too but then again if the fix is still in this league the people who are involved are very intelligent, articulate, and shady people may that have gained different angles on how to get away with it from what Donaughy may have done wrong....JMO.....

Chad hates me bringing it up but i'll never forget him telling me the NHL Finals would be won by Edmonton a few years back and i asked why. His response was because they are from Canada. Huh? The United States supports that tv-less sport and country lines determine the title. I couldn't believe it. He is young and i realized that quickly and long ago. He will say "Whatever" but in 10-15 years, he will know what i'm talking about.
