Timberwolves traded Gerald Green to Houston for Kirk Snyder, 2nd round pick and cash considerations.

T-Wolves had a logjam of players that played similair to Green so he requested to be traded due to lack of playing time going into his free agent year...

Could be a small move that works out nicely for a team like Houston that lacks offensive weapons on the wing. I like this trade for Green and the Rockets, their looking more and more like the #8 seed in the West...But I still think the final 8 in the west will come down to injuries and which team can stay healthy. ..right now my bet is that the warriors miss the playoffs...if they were in the East they would be a 4 seed, if the season were to end today they would miss the playoffs at 11 games OVER .500 crazy

Yeah I dont understand this trade by Minny cause I think Green will be a player down the line

I didnt understand it either. I respect McHale for complying with Green's request and doing whats best for a young player going into free agency. but damn I think the Rockets got a steal here and yesterday as well adding Bobby Jackson and Gerald Green for practically nothing could be the type of upgrade to the bench that could continue to push them into the playoffs
