Prior and the Cubs losing tonight AND going home with Pitt winning one finally after going like 2-16 prior in last 18 will be enough for me.....ASTROS at home again vs the worst team (well damn near) with the Brewers AND THEY must win! Robertson had several stellar starts in Sept. and this should pump him up for another.

4*==>TWINS (MILTON) -163

Dmitri Young of the Tigers said that Tori Hunter and J. Jones should each mail a check to Det for the Twins winning the division because the Tigers beat the White Sox eight times. Twins lose last night......Milton starts again and is back in All Star form from last year after the injury...they could not hit the lefty Santanta so Milton should....well ......THE TIGERS MOUTHED OFF.....Even the Twins kids want this guys ass tomorrow night....I'm getting it before the line goes bad.

WHY NINE RUNS.....Are these guys playing 5 on 5....AROD may cover this himself with Salmon on the other side.....two ugly teams...two ugly run rich pitchers in a games where teams want to build offensive stats.......I'LL BITE......

Two later teams today that still have playoff incentives as the Cubbies were rained out:

Willing to pay the chalk vs the Dodgers who packed it in last night and could not hit anything anyway. The GIANTS have to chalk up a couple wins as they DO NOT want to go out to play the Mets in NY for a make up game if they do not have a better record than Atlanta. (The Braves may just play hard tonight too vs the remains of the Phillies and the Blown Bowa Constrictor)

Well they are alive and will play everyone to win the game. Only need both the Cubs and Astros to lose all three but they should put out for this first game anyway!

Sorry but I just got back to the house.......hurricane last week and now Tornado watch one first night in my own house!!

That's it! I'm taking personal NATURAL DISASTERS ON THE OVER 4 for the year!! OK...OK...

Alou is pissing off a lot of baseball purists by saying his guys and team will play when they feel they need to. BAD IDEA!! HOWEVER....(by the way it is now the 3rd inning and they have a 3 zip lead PLUS they know the Braves played everyone tonight to win)...HE WILL NOW HAVE TO PONY UP AND PUT OUT WINNING EFFORTS....barring a loss by the Braves which he obviously is counting on.

My bottom line is take the Braves-Giants-Astros and Cubs as long as they HAVE TO PLAY FOR SOMETHING.......Like the Twins tonight brought the starters for most of the game AND trotted out the two closers to win it at the end. NO PLAYOFF bound team wants to go into the playoffs losing a couple to really bad teams. NOW ON THAT NOTE!! PLAY THE A'S on SUNDAY! All starters today were notified they will play as the game to get sharp with.....The only one I have heard of so far!
