The obvious story line is for Junior to win the race. First offical race with Hendrick, family history (up and down) at the track, great qualifying run, wins the shootout and the qualifying race.
I see another story line coming.
Toyota did nothing all of last year in its first year in the Cup. But, much like it's performance in the Truck series, I think they'll eventually be huge. Last year was a learning experience. Toyota cars qualified very well (Michael Waltrip, et al) and ran very well in the Thursday races.
This is Joe Gibbs' first year with Toyota and the coach is back at the track. Denny Hamlin already won one of the qualifying races Thursday.
So, I see in a real sign of the times, the Great AMERICAN Race won by a foreign car maker. Which driver to pick? Go with the best driver inb a Toyota car.
My pick is:
Tony Stewart at 7-1 (some books higher)
