Drake vs. S Ill

At first glance I thought wow S Ill is favored in this game! I figured that S Ill has been very disappointing this year. They played a hell of a tough schedule this year. I don't know if that hurt them as they can't seem to do anything well. When was the last time Creighton blew them out like they did. On the other hand Drake reminds me of the Kansas Jayhawk football team from this year. They should lose alot of games on paper but they just kept winning. I am not sure about this game I am not betting it. But I thought it was a sure thing for S Ill since they were favored. But back to the Kansas Jayhawk thing I can't bet against a team like that. What are your takes on this game. I want to hear them.

I took Drake plus the 3.5. I know S.Illinois is unreal at home and it goes against the trend of taking the home favorite vs a ranked team, when they are unranked. I just think Drake is the much better team. GL.

I like Southern Illinois at home, they've been bad this year, but they were ranked like 25th to start the season. Drake is due for a lose, it's coming tonight.

I read S. Illinois is 57-1 over their last 58 home games.

I'm on the under in this one. I think the game is too close to call, but best of luck.

Last week everyone and their mother had Illnois State picked over Drake in almost the exact situation. Illinois State is better than S. Illinois record wise and head to head wise. Drake beat them. IMO, same thing happens tonight.

I took Salukis -2 for 1H, thinking they are fired up at home, just like Ill St was last week ( who led by 9 at half, but lost).

Drake will probably get off to usual slow start, and gather themselves by the end.
