  • What I think is a nice hockey selection for anyone interested

Going to change what I post and how I select my games. I did some looking back yesterday and after doing some arithmetic I found out that there are 5 conferences I am over 65% in for the season and two of them I am over 75%. Those two are the MAAC and Big West. The other 3 are the MVC, ACC and Sun Belt. The rest of the conferences, and there are many, I totally suck in and will not post CBB or bet it for that matter other than the 5 conferences mentioned. Also, with the NBA I usually follow the lead of some cappers here so not much reason to work at it on my own but I do enjoy capping the NBA so when I see something I really like, I will post. Hockey I love and will post.

Tonight I have a hockey game I am playing pretty large. And yea I know there is only game, but if there were ten others, I still would play this.

    1/2 Phoenix/Dallas Over 5
Phoenix plays to the over in numerous situations that apply to tonights game such as back to backs and road games with a posted total of 5. Dallas also plays to the over in home games posted at 5 and versus their division. Over it is.

    Best of luck to everyone.

I noticed the same but after the Yotes goalie was quite chewed out for loose goals and pulled- I am thinking the under. Just the Over was my original choice. So I guess it is a feeling of a tight defensive game. I just think Vegas would have made this 5.5 easily otherwise.

You make a good point because I have been wondering for a couple hours now why the posted total isnt 5.5. Kind of like when we see a weird number in basketball I guess. I just hesitate to let that affect my judgement because I have seen some way way way off hockey lines this year, unlike basketball. Anyway, I am going to give it a shot and thanks for the feedback Spearit.

Well it is looking defensive thru the first 2 periods. 1-0
There is something to be said for a good chewing out!

You were right my man. First ten minutes there was no offense by Dallas at all. No shots. Maybe 3 or 4 for Phoenix and one of them went in. Then the offenses opened up and there were 3 posts/crossbars in this game. Maybe one of them sneaks in and its a different game. But one didnt. And it wasnt. Good call. Should have listened.
