Posted the Fairfield/Manhattan game based strictly on stats I read on sports.com. Trends and angles type stuff. And it worked out. Since I entered the night on a cold streak, I am going to do it this way for a while. A bit more work, but lets see how we do.
Taking a look at USC/Washington State.
USC -- All records this season and ATS
6-1 as underdog
7-1 on road
8-2 on saturday
7-2 after a conference game
7-1 with one or less days rest
7-3 in conference
2-0 revenging a home loss
4-1 off a conference win
10-4 playing a team with a winning record and 5-1 last 6
5-0 vs teams allowing <64 points a game
2-0 as underdog of 3.5 to 6 points
Washington State -- All records this season and ATS
7-8 as a favorite
0-1 as home favorite of 3.5 to 6 points
3-7 at home
3-7 in conference
0-2 in February
2-3 on Saturday
1-4 with one day rest (and they last played UCLA so there may be some letdown)
2-7 after a conference game
1-3 off a loss
1-2 after scoring <60
0-3 after failing to cover spread for 3 straight games
5-10 against winning teams and a whopping 0-6 last 6
4-6 vs teams allowing <64 points per game and 1-4 last 5 games and 2-10 after the 15th game of season over the last three seasons
Trends and angles cover a wide variety of statistics and they point heavily towards USC so I am going to give them a shot.
