Nut, I agree with you. And the money that put this game from 7 1/2 to 10 was the wiseguy's, not the public as Ryan mentioned above. The public has since jumped on the 10 and pushed it up to 10 1/2-11. Personally, I like Nebraska in this game. They are very strong on defense, and the Southern Miss offense makes Nebraska's offense look like a machine. They are much more brutal on the offensive side of the ball, and worse defensively.

By the way, every time Lord goes to the audible on the line it's always the option. Watch for this tomorrow night, it's like reading yesterday's newspaper for opposing defenses when he audibles. Sometimes it works, sometimes not...Good luck

I have to agree with that post BC. If you remember Nebraska sucked total eggs on the road last year. I thank the same will happen here. S Miss should be able to keep this game close enough at home on national TV.

Nebraska can't throw the ball they can't finish drives, they can't score in the redzone even if you gave them the ball inisde the 20 .

I agree that Nebraska sucks on the road, but Southern Miss sucks as a home dog. I just don't see the Golden Eagles putting up much on the scoreboard. They are 97th in total offense and 99th in third down conversions. Nebraska is #1 in the nation in total defense and Southern Miss will be playing with the second string quarterback. On the other side of the ball, Nebraska's offense has not been that great, but they are still #3 in the nation in rushing offense averaging almost 300 yards per game and Southern Miss has not been able to stop the run so far this season, ranking 93rd in rushing defense. As much as I would like to back the home dog here, I just don't see it.
