He didn't have headphones on. He just lost it on 4th down- the whole world emptied onto the field and the coaches said their amends. Classless is a tough thought for someone who went an improbable 18-0 and loses the Super Bowl with 29 seconds on the clock. Disapointed- more like Severe Depression over not getting past this last fence to greatness of all time!!!!
I am no Patriots fan but I give him credit- he remained on the field to properly congratulate Coughman and the team. Not just shake his hand!
AGREED what was he suppose to do blow him---come on--give the guy a break---
I dont think he is classes but he is very disappointed. He went from being unbeaten and the best team ever to letting little Manning beat him. If he would have been able to get his hands on the Giants walk through pratice tape..........

Get over it...what SB loser isn't disappointed...shwo class and shake hands...no excuse!
Greta regular season Bill...congrats on going undefeated....
It's alot harder to win when don't have the possible plays. But really I have been a Belicheck fan for years when he was a Giants coach, and I have called him the best Head Coach every. All those other great coach's had the same players on their teams forever, that's why so many of those players are in the hall of fame. Teams are better with players that know each others moves and also are friends. Belicheck has done it with so many different players (thanks to salary caps) that i believe his task is much more impressive. How many Hall of Famers will there be from his superbowl teams?
He shook Coughlins hand with 1 second left as he thought the game was over or he conceded....the ref made them get back on the field and snap the ball one final time but Belicheck had already gave his congrats
PEACE
I never said he didn't shake hands. But he still left the field before the game was over.
If they won, then everybody wouldve said he cheated, if he lost then it's apparently, "what he deserved"....Too much chatter about the coaches....Get over it....Eli played his ass off.....Give the guy his props and stop piling on Bellichik....

Such a douchebag move, you can see the play is over and there is still time on the clock very clearly mr sore loser. Take it like a man and let Eli take his victory snap.
No. But he should have remained on the field and not continue running off when they were trying to run the last play. He's the coach. It's his job to get his players back on the field for the final snap.
Handshakes are the least of his concern.. This was obviously a catastrophic loss and now the questions about the video of the Rams final practice for the 2002 Super Bowl question his credibility once again. Suddenly not the "genious" we all thought...
