I like the patriots today, so Im booking it at minus 12!
Everyone I talk to around here is on the Giants...
This is a big game, and usually the general consensus is wrong on these games. Public is thinking that the books made a mistake on this line, which they dont do on a game like this that will recieve so much action.
Secondly, the public is on an underdog which is rare. Public usually backs the favorite especially in big attention games!!! When they do this, a lot of the time they realize that the books are smarter than they are!!!
If this were just a regular game I would not bet it because the line has dropped from 14 to twelve, showing that there isn't heavy money coming in on the pats. However, because it is the Super Bowl, the number of public $$$ dwarfs the smart action, so I feel a strong play on the pats!!!
Of course they have to play the game on the field and anything can happen, and at the same time, I want to be on the books side!!!
