I loved it too. One of the greatest NBA moments i had was watching Patrick Ewing walk away w/out a title. As a Celtics fan i LOVED it!!!

Greatness is not measured by perfection. Brady and his boys went 16-0 in a watered down NFL, get real here. NE's defense is GROSSLY overrated with 43 year old LBS. It just shows how GREAT that 89' 49ers team was in abusing 3 Playoff Teams by 100 points combined!!! Thats just sick. So what if they lost to a Good Rams team that year by 1!!! And a 10-6 Packers team by 3!!! They still went 14-2 and cruised in the playoffs with the Likes of Romanowski, Haley, Ronnie Lott, Jerry Rice, Brent Jones, Roger Craig, and of course the greatest QB of all time Joe Montana. Wayne, this Patriots team is a Flop now. I'm sorry but you know what they say, " If you don't get the ring, It don't mean a thing". Good Luck buddy.

Coming into the SB do I think the Pats were the greatest team? No! I'd rank them in the top-5 and still do.

I agree frank. The Patriots are what we thought they were. Saying they are not just takes away from what the Giants did (IMO), which was taking down Goliath!
