I played the max my book will allow on Mir (+115) Lesnar has no clue what he's getting himself into......Also liking the value with Jeremy Horn (+190)....Thoughts?

The cage is a completely different animal. Lesnar has absolutely ZERO experience in this kind of environment. This is why you see many of the PRIDE fighters having difficulty in their first few fights in the UFC. A perfect example was three months ago when Forrest Griffin (+300) defeated a heavily favored Shogun (-450) going away. It was Shogun's first fight in the UFC and he literally looked liked a deer in headlights out there. I'm lost for an explanation as to why this continues to happen, but it's been a recurring theme as more and more PRIDE fighters come over to the UFC. As for Brock Lesnar, he has no previous MMA fighting experience with the exception of one bout against an absolute cream puff. That fight was set-up as a "warmup" to hype up the one scheduled for this evening.
Don't get me wrong, Frank Mir is no billy bad ass either. However, he is a well versed, seasoned veteran with loads of experience. Not to mention, the dude's, a former UFC champion.
I'll be surprised if this one gets past the 2nd round.....

                    FRANK MIR (+130)

I've seen Mir take a pummeling from some big dudes, only to turn around & submit them; Lesnar has been training for a while, but until he gets in there & gets whacked, who knows what to expect from him

Nogueira looks like he aged 40 years since I last saw him fight in Pride & I think Sylvia's best days are behind him; I'll take Nogueira >> he has alot of submissions to end this with

All the other fights >> just hope to see them blast eachother

Yeah I like nogueira over sylvia too but im not touching that fight...
As for Lesner/Muir....I LOVE THE LEZ!
My reasons are simple...The UFC will benefit financially if brock lesner succeeds in the cage. They woulldnt set him up for failure in his first fight, so ufc president dana white threw some names around in his head before finally coming out with frank muir, and brock lesner accepted immediatley agreeing that muir would be the perfect guy for lesner to fight because of his credibility, size, ju-jitsu backround.

Muir has been a different fighter since his motorcycle accident (snapped his femur in 2 places) causing him to lose the title he had won just a couple months prior. Muirs speciality is ju-jitsu but he's said that his best shot at winning will be standing. He doesnt want to get on mat and wrestle with lesner who was a 4 time all-american and former national heavyweight champ at the university of minnesota.

...The real reason lesner wins the fight, HES A BEAST THAT WONT BE STOPPPED BY FRANK MUIR! Go to the ufc website and watch the interviews they conduct with each fighter and tell me you feel confident betting against brock lesner...Im not a WWF guy im not a UFC guy im a make money guy and I see opportunity in this fight to pick up some +units for the week.......good luck everyone
