Biggies YTD (1-1)
Oklahoma Sooners -8.5
Call me a Homer if you want. 2 teams heading in totally opposite directions. Oklahoma State has lost 4 straight after opening league play with a win. Oklahoma has won 2 in a row after losing to arguably the 2 best teams in the conference in Kansas and Kansas State. The Sooners freshman phenom Blake Griffin returned to action this past Saturday after straining his MCL against Kansas two weeks ago. He dominated the boards with 15 to go along with his team high 17 points. Oklahoma State has absolutely no one to cover him. If they think their so called shut down man Marcus Dove can do it, they are in for a long night. I expect a lot of double teaming of Griffin and Longar in the post, so the OU guards should have plenty of open looks from long range to bury some shots. Austin Johnson is coming off one of his best performances of the year and I look for that to carry over into tonight. Oklahoma State just doesn't scare anyone on the offensive end right now. They have only broke the 70 point mark 1 time in their four game losing streak. This is a big rivalry game and the 8.5 points seem like a lot, but this one has the makings of a blowout imo. Sooners roll 81-64
