    thanks once again my man....

69-70 IV MIN vs. KC MIN -10 23-7 KC KC (+10)

this is the "Most" memorable one for me, in regards to being on Top.....money wise

I was going around Taking KC on the ML, with odds of course, and also hit a $1000.00 pool, 1 winner, final score.....that was a lots of money in those days.......

actually was the year, that gave me regards as a "good capper" in my home town, and would go to local bars, and they would all ask my opinion.....I was hooked from there.....

started a mini-reputation as a person who could "pick em"....know what I mean Verne....

    once gain thanks---for the info......

Thanx for sharing Kapt- great story and moment.

The public is on NY to cover and the Under!

Lets look at some trends with this.
The betting public is correct when moving the money line in NY GIANTS games 63.2% of the time over the past 3 seasons. (24-14)

The Under favors New England and does not favor the Giants.
This simply indicates that those folks on New England totals hit on these totals concerning NE 63.2 % of the time. Giants total fans are not so lucky.

All games in this series since 1992
NY GIANTS is 3-1 against the spread versus NEW ENGLAND since 1992
NEW ENGLAND is 4-0 straight up against NY GIANTS since 1992

2 of 4 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL since 1992

Games over the last 3 seasons
NY GIANTS is 1-0 against the spread versus NEW ENGLAND over the last 3 seasons
NEW ENGLAND is 1-0 straight up against NY GIANTS over the last 3 seasons
1 of 1 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL over the last 3 seasons

NY is 13-6 ATS NE is 10-8 ATS (Mostly all in the early part of the season did they win handily.

Totals reveal 9-10 for NY and 10-6-1 for New England which kind of contradicts what I mentioned earlier about NE was better suited for the Under. That was misleading as it was the public perception on NE's Total whether it was Over or Under is what should be brought out.

"The underdog usually has the edge in the first quarter, as they are flying around and going full tilt from the opening kickoff. The underdog has not trailed in the last six Super Bowls. A better indication of the eventual outcome would be the halftime score. Here the team winning or tied after 30 minutes has gone on to win 21 of the last 24 Lombardi Trophies’. Additionally, these 21 winners are 15-4-2 ATS for game.

"In looking back as the 21 halftime leaders that went on to win. Playing oddsmaker based on opening line vs adjusted line for score, what I would figure is the team leading at halftime that went on to win the Super Bowl was 13-8, 61.9 percent in covering the second half spread.

New England is 1-8 ATS off a home no-cover where the team won as a favorite, with the Giants 9-2 ATS away from Giants Stadium this season. It’s interesting to note only twice in the last 20 years has a team that won the Super Bowl failed to cover the ATS in the Conference Championship contest."

              -My conclusion-------------
This would show to take NY for the 1st Qtr.
              NE for the 2nd Qtr.
Whoever is winning the first half - take for the 2nd half.

Last few years the "public" money has been correct.

                Colts last year
                Seahawks before that

So, the fact that there was a lot of public money early on NYG shouldnt deter bettors.
