          Tips and Trends (Updated)
          ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phoenix Suns at Chicago Bulls (1 PM ET)

Phoenix improved to 17-2 against the Eastern Conference with a 110-108 win at Cleveland on Friday. The Suns have won 5 of 6 overall, and they have won 6 of the last 7 meetings with Chicago. EDGE: SUNS
The Bulls again played without their top two scorers on Friday and lost at home to Charlotte, 90-77. Kirk Hinrich scored 14 points after a career-high 38 in his previous game, and the team definitely lacks offense without Ben Gordon (wrist) and Luol Deng (Achilles'). "Our inconsistency showed again," Chicago interim head coach Jim Boylan said. "It is difficult to understand why we have problems motivating ourselves. I know we are missing two of our main scorers. We should be able to step up and fill those voids with the guys we have." EDGE: SUNS
Bulls are 6-22 ATS in their last 28 vs. Pacific Division.
Bulls are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 home games.
Favorite is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings.
Home team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
The OVER is 14-2 in Phoenix's last 16 games vs. Eastern Conference.
The OVER is 20-7 in Phoenix's last 27 games vs. Central Division.
The OVER is 12-5 in Phoenix's last 17 Sunday games.
The UNDER is 6-2 in Chicago's last 8 Sunday games.

Boston Celtics at Orlando Magic (ABC | 1 PM ET)

The Magic handed the Celtics their 1st loss of the season back on November 18th and will be going for their 4th straight home win. They have scored at least 100 points in all 3 of those wins, including a 102-100 victory against Detroit last Monday. EDGE: MAGIC & OVER
The Celtics are just 5-4 in their last 9 games following an 87-86 home win over Minnesota on Friday. Kevin Garnett suffered an abdominal strain in the 4th quarter of that game but is expected to play. "I wasn't going to do anything that would to jeopardize my future," Garnett said. "But my philosophy has always been that if I can play, if I can run, if I can move, if I can blink, if I can wake up in the morning, I'm going to play." EDGE: MAGIC
Celtics are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 Sunday games.
Celtics are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 game vs. NBA Southeast Division.
Celtics are 45-17-1 ATS in their last 63 road games.
Magic are 7-21 ATS in their last 28 Sunday games.
Home team is 20-7 ATS in the last 27 meetings.
Favorite is 19-7 ATS in the last 26 meetings.
The OVER is 9-3 in Orlando's last 12 games vs. Atlantic Division.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Los Angeles Lakers (ABC | 3:30 PM ET)

Cleveland has won the last 4 meetings with LA, going 3-1 ATS. Cavs star LeBron James is averaging 27.4 points in 9 career meetings with LA. EDGE: CAVS
Lakers star Kobe Bryant is averaging 32.8 points in 5 games since center Andrew Bynum went down with a knee injury. The team is 2-3 in those games, dropping 3 of 4. EDGE: CAVS
The UNDER is 8-3 in Cleveland's last 11 Sunday games.
The UNDER is 36-15-1 in LA's last 52 vs. Central Division.

Denver Nuggets at Dallas Mavericks (ESPN | 6:30 PM ET)

Denver All-Star F Carmelo Anthony had hoped to make his return from an ankle injury for this game but said "I don't think I'm going to be able to go." The Nuggets have won 2 straight without him but beat teams with losing records both times. EDGE: MAVS
Dallas has not dropped 2 straight to Denver since 1995. The Mavs lost 122-109 at home to the Nuggets back on December 6th for just their 2nd setback in their last 20 home games vs. Denver. Dallas has won 6 straight at home by an average of 13 points. EDGE: MAVS

The UNDER is 44-19 in Dallas last 63 games vs. Northwest Division.
The UNDER is 10-4 in the last 14 meetings.

New York Knicks at Golden State Warriors (MSG | 9 PM ET)

New York begins at 5-game road trip in Oakland, where the team has not won in over 6 years. The Knicks turned the ball over a season-high 29 times in a 108-82 loss to the Warriors at home back on November 20th. EDGE: WARRIORS
The Knicks have stepped it up defensively over their last 7 games - surrendering an average of just 92.6 points - which is 10 points less than in their previous 7 games. That defense will face a stiff test against the Warriors, who are averaging 115 point in their last 7 home games. SLIGHT EDGE: KNICKS
Warriors are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 home games.
The OVER is 10-1 in New York's last 11 road games.
