Duke/Maryland GOY Selection

I dont post much college basketball up here anymore because I cant seem to win when I do.* But I have been holding my own lately without posting, but I want to put one up here to see what everyone thinks, because I am rating it pretty large.

753 Duke -5* 10* GOY

Duke has won their last three road games by double digits.* Duke is also playing with double revenge in this one.* But what I like most of all is that if there is ever a let down spot in college basketball (which I dont believe in nearly as much as in football, but I still do lend some credence to it) then this is it.* Maryland beat #1 ranked Carolina as an 18 point away dog last time out.* It was a week ago, so I would probably play this a bit bigger if they played a couple days ago, but it is still their first outing since then.* Have to believe they were congratulating each other for the first few days after that big win.* As they should be, as it was a huge win for Gary Williams and company who has a great record against top ranked squads.* I know I am going against the popular home dog theory, with which I totally agree with, but this spread is more than manageable and I think Duke wins this one going away.

Only thing here about being let down. I mean they are playing Duke and not some Joe Blow. I don't know if any teams will hae let down against Duke. If anythig they bring ou the best of their opponents.

GL.....all year i've talked about how sloppy my terps are....I thought we were going to get rolled against carolina. I havn't seen much of duke this year so i don't know much about them....but if the terps shoot like they did at carolina...they could keep it close. Does duke have a big boy in the middle? No big boy in the middle for Duke. They spread the floor and shoot 3's. If they hit their 3's, they are going to be tuff to beat. Md plays a tough D, IF Duke's 3 point shooters are off, MD wins outright. MD has played extremely well since losing to American U.
