Mens matches in "slam" tourneys such as these are best 3 out of 5 sets....the womens however are best 2 out of 3 sets....point spread works like any thing else would:
I will use an example....
Lost first set 7-6 (down 1)
Win 2nd set 6-4 (gained 2 so up 1)
Lose 3rd set 6-3 (lost 3 so lost overall by 2....+2.0 covers +5.0
)

Sometimes These Finals Are Blowouts, But Rarely...i See Lots Of Value In The +5 Games, More So In The Women's Game Than The Men's With 3 Out Of 5 Sets...i May Dabble With You On The +5 Games. Just Afraid Of The Runaway Momentum Set Like 7-6, 6-0...maybe I'll Just Fantasize About Them Instead Of Betting On Them.Comment

Wow Ana had over 30 unforced errors....she kept hitting the net unforced over and over....she was up 5-4 in the first set and up 30 love and choked to break Sharapova's serve for the set than lost it 7-5....then kept hitting the net the whole 2nd set and I pushed on the spread as Sharapova broke Ana's serve like 5 times throughout the match and she could only do it once....
Tennis is still pretty cool to watch IMO..
0-1-1 for -$45....oh well....she is still the hottest and that was fun to watch....
