  • What's up with ESPN talking about the SUPER BOWL LINE?

They seem to talk about this line going down 20 times a day. Skip Bayles is talking about how the line has dropped 3 points already, and how the public is all over the giants, and there must be a "STAGGERING" amount of money coming in on the Giants. I have never seen this much talk about a line EVER. Is Vegas shoving money to ESPN to get them to hype this line up? Really want all of your opinions here, and want to know if you all have noticed this as well..

Our local paper here in La Crosse won't even list the NFL lines.

Like Chado said, ESPN always talks about the line. Especially this year when the Pats were favored by 20+ multiple times. In their eyes and in the publics the line is a way to measure how much better one team is than another, so it is understandable why they often talk about it. But, like many of us know on this site, the line doesn't predict how much better one team is but it takes into a lot of factors line public perception, etc.
