I dont get this, and I never have understood this..I will take tracey mcgrady for tonight for example.(and this happens almost every night in every sport)
a player has been out for X amount of games, or is slightly injured. therefore the coach announces he will NOT start but he will come off the bench.. Mcgrady for example tonight did not start, but he has played so far almost the entire game less like 4 minutes...Why not just start them? i dont understand..whats the difference if you have them on your bench then put them in the game 3 minutes into the game or if you just start them instead?/ this happens in b.ball and football a lot..i dont get it..anyone have any answers which would make sense?
