I'm starting to think that this might be a good thing for the Chargers....Rivers isn't exactly mobile to begin with, and if he had to go out there on 2 gimpy knees, I'm not sure he'd be able to last the whole game anyway. Volek will have to manage the game and L.T. will need to control the game.

Volek could not hold the starting job in Tenn. after multiple chances. Maybe journeyman was the wrong word. Backup for 8 years isn't though. He has had plenty of chances and never could hold the job. Must be a reason for it.
