Because you may not want to cheer against the home crowd I would take the under...also the under was almost a play for me...I took a shot with the Islanders as they have a good success against the Devils in the past and New Jersey has to lose at home eventually....hopefully tonight is the night....too much value in the Isles tonight to pass up IMO but the under is probably the safest bet....good luck....

Yea two strong goaltenders starting tonight in Rick DiPietro for the Isles and Martin Brodeur for the Devils....

Rick DiPietro started one game against the Devils this season and shut them out in New Jersey stopping 26 shots winning that game 1-0....In 21 career starts vs the Devils, DiPietro holds a 10-8-1-2 record giving up just 47 goals combined for a strong goals against average of just 2.25 and a save percentage of just under 92%.....

Martin Brodeur has started 64 games in his career against the Isles and holds a 38-20-4-2 record giving up only 139 goals combined for a goals against average of just 2.18 and a save percentage of 91.5%....he did however give up 4 goals last time out against the Isles but he is a veteran. I am looking for the Isles to win a low scoring game tonight as they have won the last 5 in a row over the Devils and also for you the under is 7-2 in the last 9 games between these two....

Have fun at the game bro!!!

              Enjoy the game!!

I have to agree with Chado that the under is the best bet. Unfortunately I have no opinion on the side as I can not pick an Islanders game right for the life of me.

Note they did play last night at home and the Devils had off since Saturday. New Jersey should be the fresher team, but as a 2-1 favorite there is no value whatsoever. I have seen more 2-1 favorites lose this year than ever before.

              GL to you!
