Yes the Nevada/California border line runs right through downton Tahoe. Haven't been for 4 years but I there are a couple good size casinos. Remember a Harrahs. Should be lots of fun.

Harrahs and Harveys are across the street from one another. There is a tunnel that goes under the road between the two. In Harrahs before the entry of the tunnel next to the bar is a very small sportsbook. They'll have game sheets and such to place your wagers. Great place to gamble but watch out, you might get one of those snow storms that keeps you on the mountain and unable to make your flight home
