I know the books don't handicap. They put out a line and the bettors change the line based on the money spent.
What I ment by not being able to put out a line was for example Hockey:

I see pick-um for all games with an o/u on goals(usually 5-6 goals). Since they don't favor a team they put money lines on the pick-um.
Logic tells me they really can't pick a team so they make you pay more or less for the team you want: Here would be an ex at the book i work at.

Since I never have bet on hockey I thought there might be a way to get an edge.

Since I'm new, how do you get your results verified El Jugo.
