I lost a 1* pick Sunday on Dallas as my regular 1* plays have been poor for weeks. I continue to shine on top plays 2* and above and just love both games this weekend.
3* Packers -6 1/2 (-120)
The best team in the NFL the last two months is not New England, it's Green Bay. The Packers' win Saturday was astonishing. Manhy teams would never recover from falling behind 14-0 in the first three minutes but GB outscored Seattle 42-6 (!) from that point forward. They dominated in ever facet of the game. The expected frigid weather Sunday can only help the Packers. GB is the superior team everywhere it matters and is now 18-3 going back to the last four games of last season. The Giants' tank has to be close to empty after three emotional games in a row. They're on the road for the third consecutive week (brutal) and Eli Manning is likely to face far more pressure Sunday than he did from a Dallas team that played terribly.
2* Patriots -14
San Diego, like the Giants, has to be emotionally exhausted after a come from behind win against Tennessee and an upset in Indy. They had to travel back to SD and now must go all the way to the east coast to face a Pats team with an extra day of rest. I think Jacksonville is better than the Chargers and if New England can beat Jax by 11, they should beat SD by more. The Patriots need to get back on their game and get to face an inexperienced quarterback in adverse conditions. I don't mind the coaching matchup either.
Get ready for a great Super Bowl matchup.
