Be careful with that play.
I see that Tipster has a huge play on the Raiders,and I respect him,but Denver is going to be up for this game bigtime.
I have allready spoke to several of "my guys" today. And they can't wait to get on Oakland tonight.
1 guy called me this morning and wanted to bet Oakland cause he was afraid the line would drop from 5.
Public money is all over Oakland tonight.And when they public money comes in heavy on a dog (it doesn't happen much), well you know what happens.
Plus,the spread of more than 3.5 indicates that this will be a win by 7 or more.IMO!!
I will post some info from my "outs" and "guys".
I will post some updates later on when the phones start a ringing!!!!

action update

Action seems to have evened out somewhat.
Was hit hard and often with Oakland action.Mainly by guys down or even.
Lots of Denver action last half hour.Seeing more over money that under.But nothing like last night.
This seemed to be a lopsided game,as far as action,but I am suprised it has basically evened out.
A few that are up are taking Denver for a nice chunk of change.
While I sit and try to type this I get 5 more wagers.Oakland.
1 very large wager.Oakland.
I am sticking with my original play. Denver-4.5
So I lay nothing off.
I hope this crap I post helps some of you guys.

I am more of a capper-gambler,but yes, I do book some action.
Not bigtime,but I hold my own.
The way I work is...I play my own games. Games that I like ALOT, I sit on the action. Games where my guys are on the side I think is the right one, I lay it all off.
Received a few more Oakland wagers and 1 small Denver/under reverse since last post.
Some more "Over" money has come in as well.
Final tally looks like.......
65-68% of my money is Oakland wagers from my guys.
70% is over money. I will lay the over money off because I have no opinion on the total.

If you book, you book, if you gamble, you gamble. You can't do both. You write the bets, put them in the draw, wake up in the morning and see how you did. If you keep some and get rid of some that is just gambling.
books don't have opinions.

Well, I am EXCEPTIONAL at picking games.
So why not book, and sit on the action I like?????
Books have no opinion, they either make a fortune or get crushed.
I get the best of both worlds.
Plus on games I love,I bump numbers accordingly.
It works for me.

Not taking it as a bash. But I agree.
You should either BOOK or GAMBLE.
For me, both combined has worked well for years.
I have about 9 outs, so I can lay off all action if I desire,and get a cut from my local outs.
I have built a fantastic customer base and it works well.
My own personal gambling is a seperate bankroll from booking.

You are soooo true Nut.Some games, I get ALL 1 sided action.Unreal!!
I do take some chances though.
EX....
Yesterday, my strongest 2 plays on the board were Arizona(goy status) and Cleveland.Miami was a nice one too.
Early in the NFL season,public usually wins 1pm games.
They were up a small fortune from 1pm games.
I knew they would be taking pop shots at me with GB.
So I lowered GB to 6.5.....These guys bet WAY more than they should have.just because it was 6.5.I don't do that too much,but I knew Zona was an easy win.It worked out.
Most gave it all back,plus some. Then with holding Miami,it was a GREAT Sunday.I'll keep you in mind Nut.
And spreadman, glad it works out for you too.
