Women's CBB game played 5 on 2

Arizona only dressed 6 players for this game and it was down to a 5 on 4 situation when 2 girls fouled out with 1:28 left in regulation. The game went to double overtime. In the 1st overtime, all 5 minutes were played 5 on 4 and Arizona still brought the game to a 2nd O.T. after each team scored 13 points in the 1st one. Another girl fouls out in the 2nd O.T. with 2:28 left leaving Arizona with 3 players on the floor. With 1:01 left in the 2nd O.T. yet another Arizona player fouls out leaving it at a 5 on 2 game. In the end, Oregon St won 94-88 in Double Overtime but you gotta give it to the Arizona team on the road playing shorthanded. I've never seen anything like it before.

Don't you put 4 people on the 1 girl waiting for the inbound pass? If you get it to her, don't you double team 1 and triple team the other? Very impressive considering .......

thats hillarious...for arizona to send the game into the 2nd overtime being power played for the whole period is pretty impressive

I remember when Prov a few years ago onbly dressed 7, and they talked about situations IF too many fouled iout. They sayed that the 1st person to foul out would be allowed back in.

Or at least that's what I think they talked about. It was during the Big East Championship.
