These are two basically even teams but this is an excellent scheduling situation for Atlanta which is in the middle of a rare five game home stand. Further, the Hawks were off last night and don't play tomorrow----creating a situation where they will be well rested and can play starters a lot of minutes. Washington, on the other hand, has a huge home game tomorrow night against the Celtics and may try to leave something in the tank.

It's hard to go against a 29-4 team, especially with Ray Allen healthy again. But this is a great spot for the Nets as they are on the second game of a four game homestand and were off last night and are off again tomorrow night. New Jersey's playing fairly well and I look for a huge effort as they try to make a statement and get some momentum going. The Nets have won six of their last seven and Boston may be headed into a mini-downturn if the home loss to Charlotte meant anything.
