There is only one way to gain respect on these boards and that is by posting winners on a consistant basis. I have been on many boards for a long time and many people want to see others loose and many are here for the friendships. Just keep posting and the negative talk can be stopped in a hurry.

8-5 is a good start, but it takes a few weeks for everyone to see that this guy is good.

Good Luck and keep posting those winners and dont let anyone get to you.

I know for a fact you see every single post because the ones that you do not like you respond to every single time.....I told you to get that stupid ass record out of your sig and you have kept it there......then you said that you wont be around and wanted to give out your email for people to get in touch and that was rebuffed by Monte and Spark.

#1 you keep a record that nobody can verify and thats a big NO NO.....#2 only a scam artist needs emails from people.....if you are going out of town then so be it....there will be more games when you get back so need for a bogus excuse to try and sneak in that email BS......#3 all of a sudden you were able to get the picks once the email idea was rebuffed?....why not just do that in the first place

I, for one, am not a "Hater", or "Follower", so this is an ubnbiased take on your efforts.....

The Mods here, Monte, Wayne, and Spark do one hell of a fantastic job weeding out touts, solicitors, sevices, and any other type of "Hype me" posts that come around.....

They do their job well, and don't fault em for it (this also applies to all the ones that chimed in against em)....In one breath you been a follower, meaning you've been patroling the site for a while, therefore you know the rules....

There has been numerous (tons of em by me) threads/posts trying to tell new posters to tone down their "arrogance", if they want to be accepted by the BC Tribe....

Some come in and softly try to guide you as how to go about your posts, and present yourself.....they're trying to help....some blatantly come out and immediately condemn you without sufficent evidence....Human Nature...

And again, some of the Forum Veterans have seen this hundreds of times before, and 99.9 %, the results have been the same........Not good....

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, here's some suggestions for ya.....

Make your plays........Post em as your own, as long as we know, in actuality they are Matts plays....Use and creat your own identity....Mitigates (means lessen or make smaller JC) the chances of people looking at you as a tout....

Follow Motor City Pimps advice, forget previous records, other sites records, and I believe your now at 8-5.....This is what you show....A "W" is a "W", and a "L" is a "L"....granted 2 bad beats, but we've got enough whiners here....I too, had Wisc, and lost....one of my top rated plays....Lose in style, and I realize 2 bad beats, you could easily be 10-3.....we're smart enough to know that....

People refer to having to earn others respect.....Hell....that holds true in life.......I think that every bit as important a factor as winning, presentaion of yourself, carries as much weight as to earning respect (IMO)........

Throw em out there.....Hopefully some will back off, cause it hasn't been determined yet, as to how much "ROPE" is needed for one to "Hang" themselves........

I agree here tone it down post one post in the thread and just wait untill the end of the night and come back and update Matt's record. You will cause shit by responding to everyone. If you let it go they will go away and let his plays speak for them selves not you.
