June realizes that he can do no more at Hawaii- the recruits are solid on a lower echelon and he did extremely well the past couple of years- he put Hawaii on the map!
As far as SMU- very tough venture for the upscoming year but can swing recruits by his history with QB's and wide receivers.

Having been to Hawaii a few times, I'm suprised. Yes, I know you want to succeed, and always take that next step. I read that he said the school never really made the commitments to the program that he wanted, BUT....if someone offered me 1.3million to live in Hawaii (basically as a celebrity), it would be tough to pull me away from that! EVER! One of the mst beautiful, peaceful places I've ever been!

There are deep problems here guys....shit that was covered up by a BCS run. Had they loss a game earlier, this shit would have been out a lot sooner.

The AD is a clusterfuck, he fucked the football schedule, he fucked the hiring of our basketball coach, he fucked the allocation of the Sugar Bowl tickets for Hawaii fans and he finally fucked the contract for Jones. The only thing Jones fucked was that volleyball player who had his kid, and that whole thing was covered up.

good coach going into a nightmare at SMU......he wasn't really appreciated and paid properly at Hawaii, cause he did put em on the CFB map.....

It'll take him a few years of recruiting, in the Ok, Ark, La, Tex area, and taking some good players with him, he'll have the Mustangs exciting to watch, and in a few more years, competitve in their conference..IMO
